Pacey's team got FIRST PLACE at Team Quest today! Pace was on a team of four; two third graders and two fourth graders. There were only four third graders chosen so it is an honor to get to participate. The teams had to answer trivia questions (Pacey said that was the hardest part) and compete in constructing different challenges. They made paper airplanes; Pace made an old fashioned plane that got the second highest score, a school box, and a robot. The kids were given paper and other small materials to make each item then scored on each one.
When Pacey called me to tell me his team won first place he said his team got to go on to the "originals" he meant regionals! HA! He is too cute! He also had his first basketball clinic through the YMCA tonight. He was asleep by 8:30 tonight!!!
Well, Pace is not the only tired one...I will post pictures of Pacey with his trophy tomorrow night!
